Year: late '80s Caliber: 2414, hand-wound, 21 jewels, date window,
two mainsprings Note: the inscription "First
President of the USSR" is apparently wrong (Gorbachev was the last USSR's
leader), but the "President" denomination was adopted only since the 1990,
therefore Gorbachev was effectively the first and the last president at
the same time. This watch has pressed caseback and acrylic glass. Diameter
35 mm.

used in the Soviet hospitals. The double scale on the dial allows to
measure the heartrate on a base of 15 pulsations. Note also the medical
symbol and the vertical date window. In new conditions, with original

hand-wound Note: very fine stopwatch. It
allows to measure the time with a very high precision (1/10 sec.), the
scale is on 30 seconds/30 minutes. Misuration of the intermediate times
("rattrappante" hands). Acrylic glass, screwed caseback. Diameter 64 mm.
